they look like they could be Morris Dancers! not sure which group, but definitely not the Foggy Bottom Morris Men or the 'Creekers.

Ah ha! You are indeed correct! http://avenue.org/amm/ They are the Albemarle Morris Men!!! When I get home I'll send 'em a copy of the pic. I'm sure they'd like it. Thanks a bunch!
